Spectators: 8147 (Terracing: 6113, Seating: 1871, VIP seats: 163) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Şükür Hagi started the match with the kick off. Medero Gadea's late challenge caught a Leicester Lions's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Medero Gadea helped the player get up and apologised. After 12 played minutes GeRaÇãO-83 got a freekick which was hit by Medero Gadea. In the 13th minute the ball was on its way in behind GeRaÇãO-83's goalkeeper Grzegorz Siekierski, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. GeRaÇãO-83's Grzegorz Siekierski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Camron Rhodes in the 16th minute of play. 17 minutes into the match, GeRaÇãO-83's Edin Džeko sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Grant Blacknell narrowly saved just below the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Camron Rhodes in the 22nd minute of play forced GeRaÇãO-83's goalkeeper Grzegorz Siekierski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Grant Blacknell showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mario Cristofor in the 24th minute of the match. In the 29th minute, Denzil Howarth hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Michal Budzyn hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Medero Gadea in the 37th minute of play forced Leicester Lions's goalkeeper Grant Blacknell to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Grant Blacknell showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edin Džeko in the 39th minute of the match. 39 minutes into the match, Leicester Lions's goal looked a bit too open when Edin Džeko came free, but Grant Blacknell reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Grant Blacknell stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Edin Džeko's shot from short distance in the 39th minute.

In the 54th minute of the match Glyn Everard shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Grzegorz Siekierski showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Grzegorz Siekierski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Camron Rhodes in the 56th minute of the match. Leicester Lions's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Glyn Everard in the 57th minute. Leicester Lions's Glyn Everard was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Grzegorz Siekierski in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. 61 minutes into the match, Leicester Lions's goal looked a bit too open when Edin Džeko came free, but Grant Blacknell reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of GeRaÇãO-83 booed when Leicester Lions was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Denzil Howarth didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Şükür Hagi in the 63rd minute of play forced GeRaÇãO-83's goalkeeper Grzegorz Siekierski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. GeRaÇãO-83's Medero Gadea got a good chance for a goal in the 66th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With his leg Grzegorz Siekierski managed to avoid a goal in the 69thth minute, when Leicester Lions's Şükür Hagi fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Leicester Lions's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Glyn Everard in the 70th minute. 76 minutes into the match, GeRaÇãO-83's goal looked a bit too open when Camron Rhodes came free, but Grzegorz Siekierski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Leicester Lions getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Camron Rhodes hit a great ball. Camron Rhodes kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. Grant Blacknell took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Medero Gadea, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the Leicester Lions defense, Edin Džeko kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Grant Blacknell. The Leicester Lions fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Grant Blacknell should have stopped the shot. Edin Džeko recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 89th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Leicester Lions's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
