Moose Knuckles's Li Lin proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 6th minute of the match, managed to save Moose Knuckles from getting a goal against them. Raimundo Joinvilense was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 10 minutes into the match. In the 10th minute, Raimundo Joinvilense hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 11 minutes, Damian Dyson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Leicester Lions's supporters crossed their fingers, but Damian Dyson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aloyzas Valys in the 21st minute of play forced Leicester Lions's goalkeeper Grant Blacknell to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Leicester Lions's Grant Blacknell played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sonic Ball in the 25th minute of play. Li Lin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tod Freeman in the 28th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tod Freeman got free with Li Lin in the 29th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 30 minutes into the match, Moose Knuckles's goal looked a bit too open when Şükür Hagi came free, but Li Lin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 36 minutes into the match, Tod Freeman dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Li Lin, 1-0. Sonic Ball kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Şükür Hagi to make the kick off. In the 56th minute of the match Moose Knuckles got a corner. The Moose Knuckles fans' excitement grew in the 61st match minute when Moose Knuckles's Aloyzas Valys looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 69 minutes into the match, Tod Freeman had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Li Lin. Moose Knuckles's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Tod Freeman was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. Moose Knuckles's Jaunius Balčaitis was substituted for Aloyzas Valys. After having played for 77 minutes, Camron Rhodes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Leicester Lions's supporters crossed their fingers, but Camron Rhodes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.
