Grzegorz Siekierski was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Jörn Helström showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 17 minute of play. Cura del Futbol's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Karl-Erik Nordal in the 37th minute. One of GeRaÇãO-83:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Cura del Futbol:s goal. After a long run with the ball, Karl-Erik Nordal did a trick in the 45th minute in front of GeRaÇãO-83's goalkeeper, who threw himself to the side. After that it was simple to shoot 2-1. An impressive performance by Cura del Futbol's Karl-Erik Nordal! No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

If Chu Rong Jun had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of GeRaÇãO-83 booed when Cura del Futbol was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jörn Helström didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Edin Džeko got free with Haakon á Borg in the 79th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A sloppy throw-in by Jiang Xiang Sheng in the 85th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Cura del Futbol's Froilan Fresco. Grzegorz Siekierski stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jörn Helström's shot from short distance in the 86th minute. Thanks to some nice moves Edin Džeko could shoot a difficult shot in the 88th minute, which Haakon á Borg however easily saved by the left post. In the 90th minute, Jimeno Geofredo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Edin Džeko's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Haakon á Borg firmly grabbed it by the left post. In the 97th minute, Chu Rong Jun hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
