In the 5th minute, Celedonio Teofilio left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Defensores del Tiki Tiki fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Feliks Dec took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Steve Hyuga, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 11th minute Steve Hyuga shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Feliks Dec saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 16th minute, Dedê Moreno got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Defensores del Tiki Tiki's Steve Hyuga in the 18th minute got a chance for a shot 18th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Charmander City's goalie prevented a goal. Feliks Dec made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Baldomiro Martxot in the 20th minute of play. If Dedê Moreno had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Charmander City's Feliks Dec proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 25th minute of the match, managed to save Charmander City from getting a goal against them. Delmiro Peto recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 30th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Steve Hyuga got free with Feliks Dec in the 32nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Paolo Urko made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Delmiro Peto in the 36th minute of play. Feliks Dec made an important save on a dangerous shot by Steve Hyuga in the 38th minute. 40 minutes into the game, Godfredo Jerrold threw the ball into play from the sideline. Charmander City's Sharma Barco quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. 43 minutes into the match, Defensores del Tiki Tiki's goal looked a bit too open when Delmiro Peto came free, but Paolo Urko reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Delmiro Peto to strike the kick off in the second half. Feliks Dec showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Celedonio Teofilio, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 55th minute of the game. One of Defensores del Tiki Tiki:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Charmander City:s goal. A sloppy throw-in by Godfredo Jerrold in the 68th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Charmander City's Herminio Mino. After some fancy dribbling in the 71st minute, Steve Hyuga managed to get in a good position for a shot. Defensores del Tiki Tiki's supporters rose to their feet, but Steve Hyuga was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Feliks Dec breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Feliks Dec showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Steve Hyuga, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. Jiang Zheng Shu came free with the goalkeeper in the 86th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Paolo Urko could save by the left post. In the 89th minute, Steve Hyuga hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Defensores del Tiki Tiki getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Fabricio Lon hit a great ball. Defensores del Tiki Tiki's Paolo Urko proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 93rd minute of the match, managed to save Defensores del Tiki Tiki from getting a goal against them. Godfredo Jerrold received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Feliks Dec tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The attack was good, but when Jose Arlo in the 99th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. The Defensores del Tiki Tiki manager could be seen shouting at his players as they walked down the tunnel after the match. He was clearly angry that they had squandered their superior possession, allowing Charmander City to win.
