In the 22nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Charmander City's goalkeeper Feliks Dec, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 24th minute of the match RIVER y NADA MÁS 09.12.18 got a corner. Charmander City's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Eduardo Rexino ran over to the corner to take the kick. When Ronaldão Fenomeno came up free with the goalie in the 42nd minute, the RIVER y NADA MÁS 09.12.18 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ronaldão Fenomeno couldn't finish the play. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.
