Spectators: 8425 (Terracing: 6319, Seating: 1938, VIP seats: 168) Edoardo Pasin started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. The audience thought a goal was coming when Edoardo Pasin got free with Zézinho Moraes in the 3rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Luís Fábio Neto might have been able to make a better finish in the 4th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Edvin van der Sar. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Luís Fábio Neto ran back to his position shaking his head. After 8 minutes Senator S.A.K's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Nando Rossi who took care of the corner kick. Capivariano F.C.'s Zézinho Moraes proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 9th minute of the match, managed to save Capivariano F.C. from getting a goal against them. Zézinho Moraes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cevat Birsel in the 11th minute of the match. Capivariano F.C.'s Nando Rossi managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Feliberto Bajo in the 12 minute of the game. Zézinho Moraes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cevat Birsel in the 15th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Feliberto Bajo during the 25th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Capivariano F.C. booed when Senator S.A.K was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Feliberto Bajo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Luís Fábio Neto might have been able to make a better finish in the 26th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Edvin van der Sar. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Luís Fábio Neto ran back to his position shaking his head. 32 minutes into the match, Capivariano F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Edoardo Pasin came free, but Zézinho Moraes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 35 minutes of play, Capivariano F.C.'s Luís Fábio Neto made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Edvin van der Sar was left in no man's land by his defense there! After having played for 38 minutes, Luís Fábio Neto managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Capivariano F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Luís Fábio Neto was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 45th minute, Edoardo Pasin left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Senator S.A.K fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. After the first half Capivariano F.C. were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

In the 53rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Senator S.A.K's goalkeeper Edvin van der Sar, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Nando Rossi fired away a difficult shot at goal in the 57th minute. He almost succeeded, but the ball bounced in the crossbar and then went out. It was a very nice shot. 63 minutes into the match, Capivariano F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Edoardo Pasin came free, but Zézinho Moraes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 65th minute, Cillian Murphy hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Capivariano F.C.'s Bernard Juroszek was substituted for Ernani Paraíba. Senator S.A.K made a substitution. Alfredo Llanos replaced Edoardo Pasin. Capivariano F.C. made a substitution. Lukas Martinsson replaced Luís Fábio Neto. Senator S.A.K's Ziemowit Mis was substituted for Tadeusz Zabrzeski. After a rather tough play, Senator S.A.K's Cillian Murphy got a free kick in the 67th minute. Edvin van der Sar made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lukas Martinsson in the 68th minute. Giovanni Goiano kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. In the 72nd minute Cevat Birsel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zézinho Moraes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 76 played minutes Capivariano F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Giovanni Goiano. Zézinho Moraes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alfredo Llanos, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. A collision led to Capivariano F.C. getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Gino Mazza hit a great ball. 90 minutes into the game, Senator S.A.K's Alfredo Llanos nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Zézinho Moraes made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2. 95 minutes into the game, Lukas Martinsson recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Edvin van der Sar. Lukas Martinsson showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-3. Capivariano F.C.'s supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
