When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Thiago Machado made a kick off. Lukas Martinsson scored 1-2 in the 87th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Durval Messias, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Lukas Martinsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Durval Messias tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 98th minute Lukas Martinsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Durval Messias saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Coritiba Foot Ball Club eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
