Arda Güler charged in rather forcefully in the 14th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Arda Güler the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Cable a Tierra booed when Senator S.A.K was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arda Güler didn't get a good kick on the ball. Edvin van der Sar was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 15th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Leandro Salvator. 18 minutes into the match, Cable a Tierra's goal looked a bit too open when Edoardo Pasin came free, but Leonides Telesforo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 21st minute Narciso Bertassi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edvin van der Sar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cable a Tierra's Leonides Telesforo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ziemowit Mis in the 43rd minute of play. After 43 played minutes Senator S.A.K got a freekick which was hit by Arda Güler. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Narciso Bertassi to make the kick off. The supporters of Senator S.A.K booed when Cable a Tierra was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Claudio Echeverri didn't get a good kick on the ball. Edvin van der Sar was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. Vitoldas Bilota's late challenge caught a Senator S.A.K's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Vitoldas Bilota helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Cable a Tierra's Vitoldas Bilota got a free kick in the 88th minute. With a little luck, Cable a Tierra's Leonides Telesforo got control of the ball when Arda Güler tried to sneak it across the goal line. Cable a Tierra walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
