Kingpins's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jedrzej Kasprzak was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. In the 33rd minute Jedrzej Kasprzak shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bixente Poli saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jedrzej Kasprzak recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 38 minutes had been played when some careless play by Kingpins's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Tytus Zjawin was slow to take the kick. During this time Nagyváradi AC's players had a chance to rest. The corner led to Nagyváradi AC's Ábel Zarka getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Bixente Poli showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ábel Zarka in the 41st minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Josep Casanova in the 47th minute of play forced Nagyváradi AC's goalkeeper Jos Van Hinnendael to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jedrzej Kasprzak to make the kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Du Song Lin in the 84th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bixente Poli prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 87th minute, Harry Sjö got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 89 minutes into the match, Nagyváradi AC's Du Song Lin sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Bixente Poli narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Bixente Poli made an important save on a dangerous shot by Du Song Lin in the 92nd minute. The Nagyváradi AC fans' excitement grew in the 94th match minute when Nagyváradi AC's Du Song Lin looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal.
