Victorino Euloxu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 3rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 5th minute Patrik Beneth shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Douglas Käcker saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Douglas Käcker stood somewhat misplaced when Patrik Beneth came free in front of goal and shot 1-0 to the left of him in the 5 minute. In the 9th minute of the match, Pål Hammarström got a very nice opportunity to score, but Douglas Käcker was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Ulf Kling was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 11 minutes into the match. After 10 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Kingpins! After some careless play in the Kingpins defense, Jimmy Finnman kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Bixente Poli. The Kingpins fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Bixente Poli should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Svante Lönnroth in the 16th minute of play forced Kingpins's goalkeeper Bixente Poli to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 18th minute, Josep Casanova hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Patrik Beneth might have been able to make a better finish in the 23rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Douglas Käcker. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Patrik Beneth ran back to his position shaking his head. BK Nerysminne's Douglas Käcker played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Patrik Beneth in the 23rd minute of play. Patrik Beneth's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Douglas Käcker read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 25th minute of play. Bixente Poli took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Simon Åkerman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 30thth minute of the game Patrik Beneth who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but BK Nerysminne's Douglas Käcker was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 35 minutes into the game, Axel Wikander was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. BK Nerysminne's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Kingpins the free kick. In the 35th minute, Axel Wikander hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Pål Hammarström received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Douglas Käcker came out and tried to block the shot, but Pål Hammarström slotted it home off the left post making it 2-1 in the 37th minute. A collision led to BK Nerysminne getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Axel Wikander hit a great ball. Harry Sjö struck a weak shot in the 42nd minute. Douglas Käcker didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Kingpins. Douglas Käcker was a little too slow when Patrik Beneth got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 46th minute. The score was now 3-1. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Carl Ek was the one to do the kick off. 57 minutes into the match, Kingpins's Patrik Beneth sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Douglas Käcker narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 60 minutes Kingpins's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Jimmy Finnman who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on BK Nerysminne's corner Jimmy Finnman fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Bixente Poli quite easily take care of the ball. In the 63rd minute, Jimmy Finnman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a little luck, Kingpins's Bixente Poli got control of the ball when Svante Lönnroth tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in BK Nerysminne's zone, Patrik Beneth stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Douglas Käcker came out of the goal and Patrik Beneth tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 75th minute, Simon Åkerman ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Bixente Poli was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-2. 79 minutes into the match, BK Nerysminne's goal looked a bit too open when Patrik Beneth came free, but Douglas Käcker reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 87 minutes into the game, Patrik Beneth cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-2. Douglas Käcker was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Bixente Poli took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Simon Åkerman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The throw-in from Jimmy Finnman in the 95th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Kingpins's Lu Qing Ang. Douglas Käcker showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Patrik Beneth in the 97th minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Kingpins had won after a very even match.
