Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jan Vennegoor Of Hesselink in the 6th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Manúel Bento prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Jan Vennegoor Of Hesselink received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Manúel Bento tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 15th minute, Ahmet Danış Garipbaş hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. David Trulsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Oliverios Marcilla, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The crowd rose to their feet as Jan Vennegoor Of Hesselink kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Manúel Bento. That made the score 1-0 in the 21 minute of play. 25 minutes into the game, Jan Vennegoor Of Hesselink recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Manúel Bento. Jan Vennegoor Of Hesselink showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. In the 28th minute, Oliverios Marcilla made a precise shot to the right of David Trulsson. Älta BK's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. When Jan Vennegoor Of Hesselink came up free with the goalie in the 36th minute, the Älta BK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jan Vennegoor Of Hesselink couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Dogelo's Sebastián Verón got a free kick in the 43rd minute. Juan Abarca hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Kristóf Földes was the one to do the kick off. Oliverios Marcilla could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 51st minute of the match, but David Trulsson made a huge save. David Trulsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kristóf Földes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If John de Jong had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Älta BK's Marko Alströmmer was substituted for Henning Gulliksson. David Trulsson made a fantastic save in the 66th minute, when Oliverios Marcilla sent off a good shot on target. After some careless play in the Dogelo defense, Jan Vennegoor Of Hesselink kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Manúel Bento. The Dogelo fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Manúel Bento should have stopped the shot. David Trulsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kristóf Földes, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. A collision led to Älta BK getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Martin Joensson hit a great ball. Älta BK's Kenneth Grönberg was substituted for Elliot Kinell. After 83 played minutes Älta BK got a freekick which was hit by Martin Joensson. Dogelo's Manúel Bento played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marko Alströmmer in the 88th minute of play. With a little luck, Älta BK's David Trulsson got control of the ball when Kristóf Földes tried to sneak it across the goal line. Manúel Bento took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fan Nan Hong, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Älta BK were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Dogelo for a fine match.
