Spectators: 8314 (Terracing: 6150, Seating: 2000, VIP seats: 164) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Ricky Meijers started the match with the kick off. VC zoetwater's defense didn't have a chance, in the 3rd minute, when Måns Sandberg scored to the left of an out of position Edwin Jennes, making the score, 1-0. With his leg Edwin Jennes managed to avoid a goal in the 7thth minute, when Norrlands Athen's Måns Sandberg fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Måns Sandberg got free with Edwin Jennes in the 11th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 12thth minute of the game Måns Sandberg who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but VC zoetwater's Edwin Jennes was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Edwin Jennes made an important save on a dangerous shot by Måns Sandberg in the 16th minute. 18 minutes into the game, Måns Sandberg recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Edwin Jennes. Måns Sandberg showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-0. After a rather tough play, VC zoetwater's Fred Van Hoeyveld got a free kick in the 20th minute. Måns Sandberg took the ball and in the 21 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Edwin Jennes. Edwin Jennes dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. In the 24th minute, Juan Lebron hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Edwin Jennes didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Måns Sandberg went, in the 26th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-0 was the resulting score. After some careless play in the VC zoetwater defense, Måns Sandberg kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Edwin Jennes. The VC zoetwater fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Edwin Jennes should have stopped the shot. After a defensive mix-up in VC zoetwater's zone, Qian Jian Wei stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Edwin Jennes came out of the goal and Qian Jian Wei tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 35th minute, Måns Sandberg reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Edwin Jennes. The goal made the score 7-0. In the 38th match minute, VC zoetwater was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Stan Hagemans to maneuver through the defense. Norrlands Athen's Filcho Slivkov got a good chance for a goal in the 39th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Juan Lebron had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. VC zoetwater's Edwin Jennes proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 45th minute of the match, managed to save VC zoetwater from getting a goal against them.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Juan Lebron stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Edwin Jennes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Måns Sandberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. Måns Sandberg took the ball and in the 53 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Edwin Jennes. Edwin Jennes dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 8-0. VC zoetwater's Edwin Jennes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Juan Lebron in the 56th minute of play. Måns Sandberg might have been able to make a better finish in the 59th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Edwin Jennes. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Måns Sandberg ran back to his position shaking his head. Måns Sandberg struck a weak shot in the 61st minute. Edwin Jennes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Norrlands Athen. Norrlands Athen made a substitution. Calle Bergfelt replaced Wieslaw Wos. Edwin Jennes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Juan Lebron, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. Edwin Jennes came out of the goal in the 66th minute to try and stop a shot by Norrlands Athen's Gilbert Hermansson. But to his dismay, Gilbert Hermansson quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 9-0. Edwin Jennes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gilbert Hermansson in the 69th minute of play. 71 minutes into the match, VC zoetwater's goal looked a bit too open when Gilbert Hermansson came free, but Edwin Jennes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 73rd minute Calle Bergfelt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edwin Jennes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Qian Zhen Sheng took the ball and in the 74 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Edwin Jennes. Edwin Jennes dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 10-0. Gilbert Hermansson took the ball and in the 77 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Edwin Jennes. Edwin Jennes dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 11-0. Edwin Jennes came out of the goal in the 80th minute to try and stop a shot by Norrlands Athen's Calle Bergfelt. But to his dismay, Calle Bergfelt quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 12-0. Gilbert Hermansson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Edwin Jennes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 84 minutes into the match, Gilbert Hermansson notched a goal, 13-0, to the right of VC zoetwater's Edwin Jennes. Edwin Jennes was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Edwin Jennes came out of the goal in the 86th minute to try and stop a shot by Norrlands Athen's Juan Lebron. But to his dismay, Juan Lebron quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 14-0. VC zoetwater's Edwin Jennes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Calle Bergfelt in the 89th minute of play. Edwin Jennes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Calle Bergfelt, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Edwin Jennes didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Norrlands Athen's Calle Bergfelt shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 15-0 in the ordered_time% minute. Gilbert Hermansson took the ball and in the 93 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Edwin Jennes. Edwin Jennes dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 16-0. There was no doubt that Norrlands Athen were the better team. Norrlands Athen's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
