Chatziantoniou Anagnostopoulos was extremely unlucky when he, in the 12th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. The audience thought a goal was coming when Nicklas Smitt got free with Theodor Adorno in the 19th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Fabio Santilli didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for West Staines Massive. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Chatziantoniou Anagnostopoulos stepped up to make the kick off in the second half.
