In the 3rd minute, Måns Sandberg made a precise shot to the right of Eilif Hørmand. Randkleve's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. In the 6th minute, Måns Sandberg ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Eilif Hørmand was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Eilif Hørmand showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Måns Sandberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. Måns Sandberg scored 0-3 in the 11th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Eilif Hørmand, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Måns Sandberg scored 0-4 in the 15th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Eilif Hørmand, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Måns Sandberg in the 19th minute of play forced Randkleve's goalkeeper Eilif Hørmand to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 20th minute Juan Lebron shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eilif Hørmand saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Juan Lebron took the ball and in the 21 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Eilif Hørmand. Eilif Hørmand dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-5. Eilif Hørmand took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Måns Sandberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Randkleve's zone, Måns Sandberg stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eilif Hørmand came out of the goal and Måns Sandberg tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Måns Sandberg might have been able to make a better finish in the 34th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Eilif Hørmand. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Måns Sandberg ran back to his position shaking his head. The Norrlands Athen fans' excitement grew in the 35th match minute when Norrlands Athen's Måns Sandberg looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-7 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The audience was convinced that Måns Sandberg's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Eilif Hørmand was relentless in the 40th minute of the game. Eilif Hørmand didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Måns Sandberg went, in the 47th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-9 was the resulting score. Disappointed in the 0-9 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Axel Hacking made a kick off. In the 54th minute, Måns Sandberg reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Eilif Hørmand. The goal made the score 0-10. In the 57th minute the ball was on its way in behind Randkleve's goalkeeper Eilif Hørmand, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 58th minute Juan Lebron shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eilif Hørmand saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Måns Sandberg scored 0-11 in the 61st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Eilif Hørmand, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Eilif Hørmand stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Måns Sandberg's shot from short distance in the 64th minute. In the 67th minute Norrlands Athen were awarded a corner. Filcho Slivkov went to the cornerflag to take it. 73 minutes into the match, Randkleve's goalkeeper Eilif Hørmand had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gilbert Hermansson. Eilif Hørmand made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Juan Lebron in the 76th minute of play. Eilif Hørmand took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gilbert Hermansson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 79 minutes, Filcho Slivkov managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Norrlands Athen's supporters crossed their fingers, but Filcho Slivkov was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 82 minutes of play, Norrlands Athen's Calle Bergfelt made it 0-12 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Eilif Hørmand was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 85th minute, Gilbert Hermansson ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Eilif Hørmand was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-13. Qian Zhen Sheng received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Eilif Hørmand tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 94th minute Gilbert Hermansson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eilif Hørmand saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Filcho Slivkov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 97th minute, Gilbert Hermansson ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Eilif Hørmand was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-15.
