Chico Sabina could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 3rd minute of the match, but Benigno Niva made a huge save. After a rather tough play, LVCVS AVGVSTI's Mario Molina got a free kick in the 4th minute. A collision led to LVCVS AVGVSTI getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Curcio Gonzalvez hit a great ball. After 8 minutes LVCVS AVGVSTI's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Alfonso Ted who took care of the corner kick. In the 15th minute, Bernardo Fero hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Unai Simon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Roman Jago in the 19th minute of the match. The supporters of Waitakere F.C. booed when LVCVS AVGVSTI was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Isaac Cainzos didn't get a good kick on the ball. Unai Simon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Maximo Francesco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 41 minutes into the game, Alonzo Berbiz cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Unai Simon was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Unai Simon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alonzo Berbiz in the 47th minute of play. The LVCVS AVGVSTI players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Waitakere F.C. were winning 0-1.

The wind increased when Bernardo Fero made the kick off in the second half. LVCVS AVGVSTI's defense didn't have a chance, in the 51st minute, when Maximo Francesco scored to the left of an out of position Unai Simon, making the score, 0-2. The audience thought a goal was coming when Santo Gonchan got free with Unai Simon in the 55th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 59 played minutes Waitakere F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Alejo Francesco. Unai Simon made an important save on a dangerous shot by Maximo Francesco in the 70th minute. After 72 minutes of play, Waitakere F.C.'s Roman Jago made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Unai Simon was left in no man's land by his defense there! Unai Simon made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alonzo Berbiz in the 75th minute. After 77 played minutes Waitakere F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Roman Jago. Waitakere F.C.'s Benigno Niva played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leal Herrero in the 78th minute of play. Bernardo Fero could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 81st minute of the match, but Unai Simon made a huge save. Unai Simon made a fantastic save in the 84th minute, when Alonzo Berbiz sent off a good shot on target. The attack was good, but when Bernardo Fero in the 87th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alejo Francesco in the 89th minute of play forced LVCVS AVGVSTI's goalkeeper Unai Simon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Unai Simon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Maximo Francesco in the 95th minute of the match. Waitakere F.C. played a much better game than LVCVS AVGVSTI and deserved their victory. The LVCVS AVGVSTI players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
