Faustino Jerold showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bernardo Fero, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. A collision led to Spams getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Sebastian Santio hit a great ball. In the 23rd minute of the match Alfonso Ted sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Faustino Jerold skillfully saved the ball. In the 24th minute, Saul Cordario got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 29 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Waitakere F.C.! The supporters of Spams booed when Waitakere F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alejo Francesco didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 32nd minute, Adelino Saldanha made a precise shot to the right of Benigno Niva. Waitakere F.C.'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Spams's Vinícius Servaes was substituted for Adelino Saldanha. Spams's Godfredo Galtero was substituted for Saul Cordario. In the 57th minute of the match, Vinícius Servaes tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Benigno Niva saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After a rather tough play, Waitakere F.C.'s Jairo Feo got a free kick in the 58th minute. Vinícius Servaes blasted a shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Benigno Niva having to make a save. Spams's Karem Eagles managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Jairo Feo in the 62 minute of the game. Benigno Niva made an important save on a dangerous shot by Vinícius Servaes in the 66th minute. The audience was convinced that Vinícius Servaes's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Benigno Niva was relentless in the 71st minute of the game. Bernardo Fero recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 72nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Faustino Jerold showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Maximo Francesco in the 73rd minute of the match. 76 minutes into the match, Vinícius Servaes dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Benigno Niva, 1-2. Vinícius Servaes could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 85th minute of the match, but Benigno Niva made a huge save. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Alfonso Ted during the 93rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Waitakere F.C.'s Alfonso Ted got a free kick in the 93rd minute. In the 95th minute, Alfonso Ted hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Spams getting a freekick after 97 minutes play. Natalio Telo hit a great ball. The Spams supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Spams would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
