Pedro Luís Peixoto ran over to the corner to take the kick. Toma Lechev hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. Benigno Niva showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Toma Lechev, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. 19 minutes into the match, Waitakere F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Toma Lechev came free, but Benigno Niva reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Toma Lechev in the 21st minute of play forced Waitakere F.C.'s goalkeeper Benigno Niva to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 23 minutes into the match, Toma Lechev notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Waitakere F.C.'s Benigno Niva. Benigno Niva was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Benigno Niva stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Toma Lechev's shot from short distance in the 27th minute. The audience was convinced that Toma Lechev's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Benigno Niva was relentless in the 28th minute of the game. 32 minutes into the match, Kjønstad BF's goal looked a bit too open when Alonzo Berbiz came free, but Jarle Volden reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 35 minutes into the match, Waitakere F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Toma Lechev came free, but Benigno Niva reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Toma Lechev got in the 35th a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Benigno Niva handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. Alfonso Ted kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. In the 42nd minute Toma Lechev shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benigno Niva saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With 44 minutes on the clock, Yngvar Loe commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. Kjønstad BF's Guaberto Boniel was substituted for Thor Gaarder. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Toma Lechev stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Benigno Niva made a fantastic save in the 52nd minute, when Toma Lechev sent off a good shot on target. Toma Lechev came free with the goalkeeper in the 54th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Benigno Niva could save by the left post. The crowd rose to their feet as Toma Lechev kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Benigno Niva. That made the score 0-2 in the 55 minute of play. Benigno Niva made an important save on a dangerous shot by Toma Lechev in the 59th minute. The supporters of Waitakere F.C. booed when Kjønstad BF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nechifor Mangra didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jarle Volden made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eliseo Libertad in the 64th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eliseo Libertad in the 65th minute of play forced Kjønstad BF's goalkeeper Jarle Volden to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Benigno Niva took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arve Grande, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alfonso Ted made in the 74th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Eliseo Libertad immediately put the ball in play. Reidar Nordhaug blasted a shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Benigno Niva having to make a save. Jarle Volden made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bernardo Fero in the 79th minute of play. In the 80th minute Eliseo Libertad shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jarle Volden saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 82 minutes into the match, Alonzo Berbiz notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Kjønstad BF's Jarle Volden. Jarle Volden was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Maximo Francesco recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 90th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Alfonso Ted made in the 92nd minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Eliseo Libertad however managed to control. The Waitakere F.C. supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Kjønstad BF's performance. The match ended with a win for Kjønstad BF.
