Spectators: 7527 (Terracing: 5646, Seating: 1731, VIP seats: 150) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Arnfred Gerbom kicked off to start the match. After a rather tough play, A.S. Ian Fenomeni's Ferruccio Castronovo got a free kick in the 2nd minute. 4 minutes into the game, Amos Colucci was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. A.S. Ian Fenomeni's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Pheonix FC the free kick. In the 4th minute, Amos Colucci hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to A.S. Ian Fenomeni getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Anthony Tonon hit a great ball. 11 minutes into the match, Pheonix FC's goal looked a bit too open when Bebeto Queirós came free, but Kim Steinthal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 12 minutes, Edoardo Pelati mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the A.S. Ian Fenomeni and the Pheonix FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 13th minute, Edoardo Pelati hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 15th minute Tommy Thernøe shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Antonio Simone saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Andrea Tocchetto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Kim Steinthal didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when A.S. Ian Fenomeni's Bebeto Queirós shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 1-0 in the ordered_time% minute. In the 34th match minute, A.S. Ian Fenomeni was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ferruccio Castronovo to maneuver through the defense. In the 38th play minute Bebeto Queirós came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Kim Steinthal. 2-0. Andrea Tocchetto recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bebeto Queirós got free with Kim Steinthal in the 44th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 48 minutes, Bebeto Queirós made it 3-0 with a short kick to the right side. Pheonix FC's Kim Steinthal tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Bebeto Queirós was the one to do the kick off. After having played for 54 minutes, Andrea Tocchetto managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. A.S. Ian Fenomeni's supporters crossed their fingers, but Andrea Tocchetto was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Kim Steinthal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bebeto Queirós, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. In the 57th match minute, Pheonix FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arnfred Gerbom to maneuver through the defense. Kim Steinthal came out of the goal in the 60th minute to try and stop a shot by A.S. Ian Fenomeni's Bebeto Queirós. But to his dismay, Bebeto Queirós quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bebeto Queirós in the 67th minute of play forced Pheonix FC's goalkeeper Kim Steinthal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 68th match minute, A.S. Ian Fenomeni was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Andrea Tocchetto to maneuver through the defense. The A.S. Ian Fenomeni fans' excitement grew in the 70th match minute when A.S. Ian Fenomeni's Bebeto Queirós looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 5-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 74th match minute, Pheonix FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Christian Resing to maneuver through the defense. After 75 played minutes, A.S. Ian Fenomeni's Ferruccio Castronovo shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Kim Steinthal came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in A.S. Ian Fenomeni reached it. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Bebeto Queirós in the 83rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Kim Steinthal prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Kim Steinthal stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Bebeto Queirós's shot from short distance in the 84th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Pheonix FC's zone, Bebeto Queirós stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kim Steinthal came out of the goal and Bebeto Queirós tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Kim Steinthal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bebeto Queirós in the 90th minute of play. After 94 played minutes Pheonix FC got a freekick which was hit by Tommy Thernøe. A.S. Ian Fenomeni's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
