Fire Devils's Leander Uliassi got a good chance for a goal in the 23rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 25thth minute of the game Leander Uliassi who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Untte BK's Eilert Østmo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Leander Uliassi in the 29th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Eilert Østmo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Toto Caputo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bertel Furre in the 30th minute. In the 32nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Fire Devils's goalkeeper Toto Caputo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 33rd minute, Rene Cirella hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bertel Furre came free with the goalkeeper in the 34th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Toto Caputo could save by the left post. Leander Uliassi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Fire Devils's Toto Caputo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hans-Kristian Ås in the 41st minute of play. Leander Uliassi hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Alf Borlaug during the 47th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Fire Devils booed when Untte BK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alf Borlaug didn't get a good kick on the ball.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Leander Uliassi stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Leander Uliassi in the 54th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Eilert Østmo saved Untte BK from getting behind. In the 63rd minute Bertel Furre shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Toto Caputo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 65 minutes into the match, Fire Devils's goal looked a bit too open when Odd Opsal came free, but Toto Caputo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 69 minutes into the match, Untte BK's goal looked a bit too open when Leander Uliassi came free, but Eilert Østmo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Martial Schwersenz charged in rather forcefully in the 72nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Leander Uliassis short, quick shot in the 78thth minute got Eilert Østmo to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 81 minutes into the match, Untte BK's goalkeeper Eilert Østmo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Leander Uliassi. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
