The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. When Ildefonso Marcones came up free with the goalie in the 4th minute, the Pan FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ildefonso Marcones couldn't finish the play. After 5 played minutes Fire Devils got a freekick which was hit by Loris Hellmüller. Salvator Kälin made in the 13th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Loris Hellmüller immediately put the ball in play. Pan FC were awarded a corner in the 18th minute after Fire Devils's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Evelio Txaran took the corner. Pan FC's Ramon Rufio was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Toto Caputo in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. When Ildefonso Marcones came up free with the goalie in the 19th minute, the Pan FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ildefonso Marcones couldn't finish the play. In the 23rdth minute of the game Ildefonso Marcones who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Fire Devils's Toto Caputo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Salvator Kälin made in the 28th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Loris Hellmüller however managed to control. In the 31st match minute, Pan FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ildefonso Marcones to maneuver through the defense. 33 minutes into the match, Ildefonso Marcones had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Toto Caputo. Fire Devils's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ildefonso Marcones was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Ildefonso Marcones struck a weak shot in the 36th minute. Toto Caputo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pan FC. Cafu Soares hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. Fire Devils's Toto Caputo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ildefonso Marcones in the 43rd minute of play. The referee gave Pan FC a penalty, 46 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Evelio Txaran, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Fire Devils's Toto Caputo. 0-2.

Cillian Zellweger kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. 54 minutes into the match, Fire Devils's goalkeeper Toto Caputo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cafu Soares. When Pan FC's Ildefonso Marcones in the 59th minute got a chance for a shot 59th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Toto Caputo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ildefonso Marcones, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Leander Uliassi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Toto Caputo made a fantastic save in the 72nd minute, when Cafu Soares sent off a good shot on target. Cillian Zellweger charged in rather forcefully in the 73rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Cillian Zellweger the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Fire Devils getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Cillian Zellweger hit a great ball. Toto Caputo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ildefonso Marcones in the 87th minute of play. In the 89th match minute, Pan FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cafu Soares to maneuver through the defense. Ildefonso Marcones sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Toto Caputo made a fantastic save in the 93rd minute, when Ildefonso Marcones sent off a good shot on target. Loris Hellmüller struck a weak shot in the 94th minute. Arsenio Osorio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Fire Devils. Pan FC were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over Fire Devils's much stronger midfield.
