The audience thought a goal was coming when Calisto Aballe got free with Zé de Senna in the 3rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Abelardo de Lara during the 4th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 4th minute, Abelardo de Lara hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 6 played minutes Sportivo Chupeño got a freekick which was hit by Eladio Abella. After 8 played minutes Matungo Gaúcho got a freekick which was hit by Breno Velloso. Calisto Aballe struck a weak shot in the 9th minute. Zé de Senna didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sportivo Chupeño. Calisto Aballe received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Zé de Senna tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Matungo Gaúcho's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Dantae Abeita 15 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-0. After 18 played minutes Sportivo Chupeño got a freekick which was hit by Turi Abenda. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Turi Abenda in the 20th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Zé de Senna prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Matungo Gaúcho's defense didn't have a chance, in the 21st minute, when Calisto Aballe scored to the left of an out of position Zé de Senna, making the score, 2-0. Sportivo Chupeño's Baiona Abadie played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abelardo de Lara in the 25th minute of play. 27 minutes into the game, Dantae Abeita recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Zé de Senna. Dantae Abeita showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-0. Urtungo Abadie charged in rather forcefully in the 39th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Urtungo Abadie the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 39th match minute, Sportivo Chupeño was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Urtungo Abadie to maneuver through the defense. After 42 minutes, Breno Velloso mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Matungo Gaúcho and the Sportivo Chupeño players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Matungo Gaúcho getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Breno Velloso hit a great ball. Turi Abenda received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Zé de Senna came out and tried to block the shot, but Turi Abenda slotted it home off the left post making it 5-0 in the 43rd minute. Matungo Gaúcho's Zé de Senna proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 46th minute of the match, managed to save Matungo Gaúcho from getting a goal against them. After some careless play in the Matungo Gaúcho defense, Calisto Aballe kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Zé de Senna. The Matungo Gaúcho fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Zé de Senna should have stopped the shot.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Dário da Cunha made a kick off. When Amílton Machado fell near the penalty area in the 55th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Matungo Gaúcho's protests and gave Amílton Machado a yellow card for diving instead. After 55 played minutes Matungo Gaúcho got a freekick which was hit by Amílton Machado. In the 56th minute of the match Urtungo Abadie shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Zé de Senna showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Urtungo Abadie hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Matungo Gaúcho's zone, Turi Abenda stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Zé de Senna came out of the goal and Turi Abenda tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 63 minutes of play Matungo Gaúcho's Breno Velloso was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Breno Velloso hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. Matungo Gaúcho's Zé de Senna played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dantae Abeita in the 66th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Turi Abenda in the 67th minute of play forced Matungo Gaúcho's goalkeeper Zé de Senna to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Zé de Senna took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Calisto Aballe, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 72 minutes of play, Sportivo Chupeño's Turi Abenda made it 7-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Zé de Senna was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Turi Abenda in the 76th minute of play forced Matungo Gaúcho's goalkeeper Zé de Senna to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Zé de Senna showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Turi Abenda, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. Zé de Senna took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Urtungo Abadie, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 81 minutes into the game, Sportivo Chupeño's Xzavaier Abajas nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Zé de Senna made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 8-0. Zé de Senna didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Calisto Aballe went, in the 90th minute, to the upper right corner, 9-0 was the resulting score. Calisto Aballe scored 10-0 in the 94th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Zé de Senna, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Sportivo Chupeño had played much better football throughout.
