Drunken Sea Monkeys's defense didn't have a chance, in the 3rd minute, when Dennis Celli scored to the left of an out of position Joonas Järve, making the score, 1-0. In the last second Joonas Järve throw himself and got hold of the ball when Ernesto Margoni in the 7thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. In the 9th minute Camillo Tellini shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joonas Järve saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Joonas Järve was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Ernesto Margoni showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 10 minute of play. Joonas Järve made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ernesto Margoni in the 21st minute. 22 minutes into the match, Camillo Tellini dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Joonas Järve, 3-0. Joonas Järve was a little too slow when Camillo Tellini got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 27th minute. The score was now 4-0. Camillo Tellini recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 30th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the match had gone on for 31 minutes, Enzo Scacchi put it in 5-0 from a short distance just to the right of Joonas Järve. With his leg Joonas Järve managed to avoid a goal in the 34thth minute, when Kroton F.C.'s Dennis Celli fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. A collision led to Drunken Sea Monkeys getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Peep Normann hit a great ball. When Gert Naer fell near the penalty area in the 37th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Drunken Sea Monkeys's protests and gave Gert Naer a yellow card for diving instead. After 37 played minutes Drunken Sea Monkeys got a freekick which was hit by Gert Naer. Joonas Järve took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Camillo Tellini, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience was convinced that Ernesto Margoni's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Joonas Järve was relentless in the 42nd minute of the game. When Gert Naer was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 43 minutes had been played. Gert Naer hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ernesto Margoni in the 46th minute of play forced Drunken Sea Monkeys's goalkeeper Joonas Järve to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 5-0.

The wind increased when Viljar Niidumaa made the kick off in the second half. The Kroton F.C. fans' excitement grew in the 54th match minute when Kroton F.C.'s Ernesto Margoni looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 6-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After a defensive mix-up in Kroton F.C.'s zone, Viljar Niidumaa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Elia Losito came out of the goal and Viljar Niidumaa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 74 minutes, Peep Normann mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Drunken Sea Monkeys and the Kroton F.C. players grew even worse after the yellow card. Kroton F.C.'s Alexander Granato was substituted for Ercole Di Febo. After 75 played minutes Drunken Sea Monkeys got a freekick which was hit by Peep Normann. Joonas Järve showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Federico Balboni in the 82nd minute of the match. Joonas Järve showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ernesto Margoni, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Camillo Tellini in the 86th minute of play forced Drunken Sea Monkeys's goalkeeper Joonas Järve to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 94 minutes into the match, Kroton F.C.'s Camillo Tellini sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Joonas Järve narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Kroton F.C.'s supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
