Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Dagoberto Loyola in the 35th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rudolf Gaarsmand prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After having played for 37 minutes, Dagoberto Loyola managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Montevideo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dagoberto Loyola was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 39th minute Dagoberto Loyola shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rudolf Gaarsmand saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dagoberto Loyola in the 42nd minute of play forced BRONCOS's goalkeeper Rudolf Gaarsmand to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to BRONCOS getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Anton Eckhausen hit a great ball. 43 minutes into the match, Renan Barbosa had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Rudolf Gaarsmand. BRONCOS's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Renan Barbosa was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Mathias dos Santos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gunner Kornild made a kick off. In the 53rd minute Laerte Paraíba suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. Anton Eckhausen charged in rather forcefully in the 53rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. After 60 played minutes, BRONCOS's Ejvin Hørkjær shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Wincent Jaworski came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in BRONCOS reached it. After 61 played minutes Montevideo got a freekick which was hit by Mathias dos Santos. With a little luck, BRONCOS's Rudolf Gaarsmand got control of the ball when Dagoberto Loyola tried to sneak it across the goal line. Rudolf Gaarsmand showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Renan Barbosa, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. Rudolf Gaarsmand made an important save on a dangerous shot by Dagoberto Loyola in the 69th minute. With his leg Rudolf Gaarsmand managed to avoid a goal in the 71stth minute, when Montevideo's Dagoberto Loyola fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. When Montevideo's Clóvis Paraense in the 74th minute got a chance for a shot 74th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye BRONCOS's goalie prevented a goal. Ronni Holts kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. Renan Barbosa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 84th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Rudolf Gaarsmand made an important save on a dangerous shot by Dagoberto Loyola in the 86th minute. Rudolf Gaarsmand made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Clóvis Paraense in the 88th minute of play. Rudolf Gaarsmand made a fantastic save in the 90th minute, when Dagoberto Loyola sent off a good shot on target. Rudolf Gaarsmand took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Clóvis Paraense, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 96th minute, Mathias dos Santos managed to get in a good position for a shot. Montevideo's supporters rose to their feet, but Mathias dos Santos was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rudolf Gaarsmand breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Montevideo's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
