Iwo Fujara was slow to take the kick. During this time MARIANO MORENO DE JUNÍN's players had a chance to rest. After some careless play in the MARIANO MORENO DE JUNÍN defense, Renan Barbosa kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Lázaro Ireno. In the 57th minute, Mathias dos Santos got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Nicolas Che received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Wincent Jaworski came out and tried to block the shot, but Nicolas Che slotted it home off the left post making it 2-2 in the 59th minute. In the 63rd minute, MARIANO MORENO DE JUNÍN's Nicolas Che ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Wincent Jaworski. Wincent Jaworski yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-3. 70 minutes into the game, Montevideo's Dagoberto Loyola nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Lázaro Ireno made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-3. In the 73rd match minute, Montevideo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zé Pedro Ribeiro to maneuver through the defense. After 80 played minutes Montevideo got a freekick which was hit by Anselmo Valladares. If Nicolas Che had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Nicolas Che got free with Wincent Jaworski in the 83rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 83 minutes, Nicolas Che mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the MARIANO MORENO DE JUNÍN and the Montevideo players grew even worse after the yellow card.
