Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

In the 84th minute, Gonzalo Calcini reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Gláuber Mattos. The goal made the score 0-5. Isidoro Vitin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Júlio Brasil, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. Júlio Brasil fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Isidoro Vitin having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Dorian Nunes during the 94th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card.
