The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 21 minutes into the match, Stat Veritas FC's goal looked a bit too open when Leonides Gartxot came free, but Silvestre Fernandez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Stat Veritas FC defense, Gonzalo Calcini kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Silvestre Fernandez. The Stat Veritas FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Silvestre Fernandez should have stopped the shot. Gonzalo Calcini scored 0-3 in the 27th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Silvestre Fernandez, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Gonzalo Calcini might have been able to make a better finish in the 29th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Silvestre Fernandez. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Victor Porfirio hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. Gonzalo Calcini received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Silvestre Fernandez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Silvestre Fernandez didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from German Seme went, in the 64th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-5 was the resulting score. Gonzalo Calcini received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Silvestre Fernandez came out and tried to block the shot, but Gonzalo Calcini slotted it home off the left post making it 0-6 in the 69th minute. German Seme fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Silvestre Fernandez having to interfere. In the 82nd minute, Gonzalo Calcini got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 88 minutes into the match, Leonides Gartxot dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Silvestre Fernandez, 0-8. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gonzalo Calcini got free with Silvestre Fernandez in the 93rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Firmat Foot Ball Club eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
