Victor Benat showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Stasys Povilaitis in the 5th minute of the match. Xeneizes's Victor Benat played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Stasys Povilaitis in the 7th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Virginijus Žalpys in the 9th minute of play forced Xeneizes's goalkeeper Victor Benat to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 12 minutes into the match, FC COSA NOSTRA's goalkeeper Gytis Vilimavičius had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Feliciano Ugutz. The corner led FC COSA NOSTRA's Stasys Povilaitis to fire away a dangerous shot which Victor Benat despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Gytis Vilimavičius made an important save on a dangerous shot by Claudio Peter in the 23rd minute. Aaron Mingo charged in rather forcefully in the 28th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. After 36 minutes of play Xeneizes's Pastor Benat was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. The supporters of FC COSA NOSTRA booed when Xeneizes was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pastor Benat didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 38th minute, Aloyzas Jučas managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC COSA NOSTRA's supporters rose to their feet, but Aloyzas Jučas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Victor Benat breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Stasys Povilaitis took the ball and in the 40 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Victor Benat. Victor Benat dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. A collision led to FC COSA NOSTRA getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Virginijus Žalpys hit a great ball. Victor Benat took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Stasys Povilaitis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After the first half FC COSA NOSTRA were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Xeneizes's Robustiano Endura was substituted for Claudio Peter. The wind increased when Robustiano Endura made the kick off in the second half. Gytis Vilimavičius showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Robustiano Endura, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. After some careless play in the Xeneizes defense, Aloyzas Jučas kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Victor Benat. The Xeneizes fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Victor Benat should have stopped the shot. Victor Benat came out of the goal in the 63rd minute to try and stop a shot by FC COSA NOSTRA's Aloyzas Jučas. But to his dismay, Aloyzas Jučas quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. Robustiano Endura received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Gytis Vilimavičius tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 79 played minutes Xeneizes got a freekick which was hit by Emanuel Txanton. Victor Benat made an important save on a dangerous shot by Stasys Povilaitis in the 82nd minute. Emanuel Txanton kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. If Aloyzas Jučas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Aloyzas Jučas hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. If Robustiano Endura had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The FC COSA NOSTRA supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing FC COSA NOSTRA would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
