Spectators: 7592 (Terracing: 5695, Seating: 1746, VIP seats: 151) Vasile Manolache started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. The supporters of MCB Timisoara 1921 BTV booed when Super Penalitop was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alejo Olivar didn't get a good kick on the ball. Super Penalitop's Manuel Berto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Silviu Cutieru in the 10th minute of play. After 15 played minutes MCB Timisoara 1921 BTV got a freekick which was hit by Dacian Ilica. 22 minutes into the game, Basarab Mavrogheni was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. MCB Timisoara 1921 BTV's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Super Penalitop the free kick. In the 21st minute, one of MCB Timisoara 1921 BTV:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for MCB Timisoara 1921 BTV. Vincent Ørkild took the ball and in the 22 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Emil Inculeț. Emil Inculeț dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. In the 24th match minute, Super Penalitop was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anastasio Ixidor to maneuver through the defense. After 46 played minutes MCB Timisoara 1921 BTV got a freekick which was hit by Basarab Mavrogheni. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The wind increased when Vincent Ørkild made the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the game, MCB Timisoara 1921 BTV's Vasile Manolache nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Manuel Berto made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. After a rather tough play, Super Penalitop's Mórits Kaa got a free kick in the 66th minute. Vincent Ørkild could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 70th minute of the match, but Emil Inculeț made a huge save. In the 75th match minute, Super Penalitop was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ruben Honrio to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Silviu Cutieru in the 86th minute of play forced Super Penalitop's goalkeeper Manuel Berto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in MCB Timisoara 1921 BTV's zone, Vincent Ørkild stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Emil Inculeț came out of the goal and Vincent Ørkild tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. During the 88th minute of the match Basarab Mavrogheni completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Basarab Mavrogheni a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. MCB Timisoara 1921 BTV had played much better football throughout.
