Spectators: 7488 (Terracing: 5617, Seating: 1722, VIP seats: 149) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Sándor Czakó kicked off to start the match. Lajos Bács charged in rather forcefully in the 2nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Lajos Bács the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Lajos Bács hit a great freekick 2 minutes into the match. MCB Timisoara 1921 BTV's Vasile Manolache got a good chance for a goal in the 15th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After having played for 18 minutes, Sándor Czakó managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Vérsárkány SE's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sándor Czakó was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. József Bozsik didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when MCB Timisoara 1921 BTV's Vasile Manolache shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 0-1 in the ordered_time% minute. Dorel Logofătu hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. Sándor Czakó who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 30thth minute tested the skills of Emil Inculeț when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After 32 played minutes MCB Timisoara 1921 BTV got a freekick which was hit by Silviu Cutieru. After a defensive mix-up in MCB Timisoara 1921 BTV's zone, Lajos Kárpáti stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Emil Inculeț came out of the goal and Lajos Kárpáti tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 35th minute, György Pataky hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 36th minute of the match Silviu Cutieru shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but József Bozsik showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. When the match clock showed 39 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Vasile Manolache sped through Vérsárkány SE's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of József Bozsik. József Bozsik showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vasile Manolache in the 42nd minute of the match. Silviu Cutieru received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. József Bozsik tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Vasile Manolache to strike the kick off in the second half. The audience was convinced that Vasile Manolache's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but József Bozsik was relentless in the 50th minute of the game. If Silviu Cutieru had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ákos Pálfi during the 57th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Vérsárkány SE's Ákos Pálfi got a free kick in the 57th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Vasile Manolache in the 59th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg József Bozsik saved Vérsárkány SE from getting behind. The supporters of MCB Timisoara 1921 BTV booed when Vérsárkány SE was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ákos Pálfi didn't get a good kick on the ball. József Bozsik was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 62nd minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Silviu Cutieru. When Vérsárkány SE's Benedek Soós in the 64th minute got a chance for a shot 64th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye MCB Timisoara 1921 BTV's goalie prevented a goal. Emil Inculeț showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sándor Czakó in the 68th minute of the match. In the 70th minute Sándor Czakó shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emil Inculeț saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 71st minute, Stelian Gligan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Benedek Soós had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Vérsárkány SE's József Bozsik played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vasile Manolache in the 79th minute of play. When Sándor Czakó fell near the penalty area in the 85th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Vérsárkány SE's protests and gave Sándor Czakó a yellow card for diving instead. After 86 played minutes Vérsárkány SE got a freekick which was hit by Sándor Czakó. Vasile Manolache could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 90th minute of the match, but József Bozsik made a huge save. When the final whistle sounded MCB Timisoara 1921 BTV left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Vérsárkány SE.
