The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Olando Marty made an important save on a dangerous shot by Zebastian Lindholm in the 5th minute. With a little luck, Club Dep. Soc. Rodo's Olando Marty got control of the ball when Lennart Svanström tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 9 minutes of play, Garphyttan's Zebastian Lindholm made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Olando Marty was left in no man's land by his defense there! A collision led to Club Dep. Soc. Rodo getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Juan-Carlos Otero hit a great ball. Club Dep. Soc. Rodo's Olando Marty played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jesus Arce in the 14th minute of play. Jörgen Gummeson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Blas Bolaños in the 16th minute of the match. 17 minutes into the match, Lennart Svanström had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Olando Marty. Club Dep. Soc. Rodo's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Lennart Svanström was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. Olando Marty made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jesus Arce in the 29th minute of play. Club Dep. Soc. The supporters of Garphyttan booed when Club Dep. Soc. Rodo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Laurentzi Hontoria didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 36th minute, Jesus Arce reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Olando Marty. The goal made the score 3-0. 44 minutes into the game, Lennart Svanström was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Garphyttan's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Club Dep. Soc. Rodo the free kick. A collision led to Garphyttan getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Lennart Svanström hit a great ball. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Blas Bolaños made the kick off in the second half. Olando Marty made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lennart Svanström in the 54th minute of play. In the 56th minute Zebastian Lindholm shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Olando Marty saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zebastian Lindholm in the 57th minute of play forced Club Dep. Soc. Rodo's goalkeeper Olando Marty to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 59 minutes into the match, Lennart Svanström notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of Club Dep. Soc. When Angelo Elvira fell near the penalty area in the 83rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Club Dep. Soc. Rodo's protests and gave Angelo Elvira a yellow card for diving instead. Viggo Colin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Olando Marty having to interfere. A collision led to Club Dep. Soc. Rodo getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Manex Pajazo hit a great ball. Olando Marty stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Viggo Colin's shot from short distance in the 89th minute. In the 91st match minute, Club Dep. Soc. Rodo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Donatello Barajo to maneuver through the defense.
