The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Morgan Mišković hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. Klas Söderkvist received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Vedillo Biosca tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Samuel Jonasson struck a weak shot in the 18th minute. Vedillo Biosca didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for White Hart Lane. When the match clock showed 21 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Steve Hyuga sped through White Hart Lane's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of David Håning. Klas Söderkvist recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 27th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Bengt Abrahamsson hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. White Hart Lane's defense didn't have a chance, in the 33rd minute, when Inacio Caldevilla scored to the left of an out of position David Håning, making the score, 2-0. Samuel Jonasson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vedillo Biosca having to interfere. Steve Hyuga was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 40th minute. Nova Soccer's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Oswaldo Malla hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. Vedillo Biosca made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Henric Hellström in the 47th minute of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The wind increased when Samuel Jonasson made the kick off in the second half. When Algot Flink fell near the penalty area in the 53rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored White Hart Lane's protests and gave Algot Flink a yellow card for diving instead. 52 minutes into the game, one of White Hart Lane:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. After 63 minutes of play, Nova Soccer's Steve Hyuga made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. David Håning was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 67th minute, Georg Ivarsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ahmet Sedat Adar hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 74th minute of the game. One of White Hart Lane:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Nova Soccer:s goal. White Hart Lane:s David Håning showed great skill when he stopped Steve Hyuga:s penalty. The supporters of Nova Soccer booed when White Hart Lane was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kjell Ekblom didn't get a good kick on the ball. White Hart Lane's Samuel Jonasson got a good chance for a goal in the 81st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Henric Hellström recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 83rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Samuel Jonasson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 90th minute of the match, but Vedillo Biosca made a huge save. In the 92nd minute, Steve Hyuga ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. David Håning was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-0. David Håning showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Steve Hyuga, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. Nova Soccer's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
