With his leg Zacarias Lluc managed to avoid a goal in the 9thth minute, when FC Dundee's Pudes Figueres fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vinicio Austin in the 11th minute of play forced FC Dundee's goalkeeper Peeter Bonetti to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In a very dangerous position, a player in Llavallol FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 38th minute. Penalty! The goalkeeper, Zacarias Lluc, was totally fooled by FC Dundee's Hristo Botev, who 41 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Isaias Eguntsenti was the one to do the kick off. Mateo Tolino was slow to take the kick. During this time Llavallol FC's players had a chance to rest. In the 88th minute Villu Lesta suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. 88 minutes into the game, Ciriaco Jordy was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Llavallol FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC Dundee the free kick. FC Dundee's Jass Enula was substituted for Villu Lesta. After a rather tough play, Llavallol FC's Ciriaco Jordy got a free kick in the 90th minute.
