In the 2ndth minute of the game Roy Bennet who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Gold Raiders FC's Resul Yalın was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 6th minute Bo-Erik Springfält shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Resul Yalın saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Gold Raiders FC getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Hakkı Devrim Akkan hit a great ball. Resul Yalın made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Roy Bennet in the 14th minute of play. Ahmet Hasan Tanju kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. Protegéerna's supporters crossed their fingers, but Roy Bennet was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Oscar Löfgren hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. Roy Bennet's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Resul Yalın read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 45th minute of play. 45 minutes into the game, Roy Bennet cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Resul Yalın was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.
The supporters of Protegéerna booed when Gold Raiders FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Orkun Okanalp didn't get a good kick on the ball. Güven Birsan made in the 55th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Hakkı Devrim Akkan immediately put the ball in play. Georg Vallin didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Baturhan Erozan went, in the 63rd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-3 was the resulting score. Roy Bennet could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 66th minute of the match, but Resul Yalın made a huge save. In the 71st minute Ahmet Hasan Tanju shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Georg Vallin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Georg Vallin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Faruk Ceyhan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 84th minute, Erling Fredriksson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sven Skark sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Resul Yalın made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sven Skark in the 86th minute of play. When Baturhan Erozan, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 89 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Georg Vallin was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Protegéerna's Bo-Erik Springfält got a free kick in the 91st minute. When Baturhan Erozan came up free with the goalie in the 93rd minute, the Gold Raiders FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Baturhan Erozan couldn't finish the play. 95 minutes into the game, Protegéerna's Sven Skark nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Resul Yalın made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-4. Chants of Protegéerna echoed around the stadium as the match drew to a close. Supporters and players were both delighted with the win, as Gold Raiders FC had held the ball for most of the match.
