In the 35thth minute of the game Roy Bennet who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but The Old Boys's Vinicio Bidari was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Roy Bennet could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 37th minute of the match, but Vinicio Bidari made a huge save. After 38 minutes, Jairo Lizar mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the The Old Boys and the Protegéerna players grew even worse after the yellow card. Vinicio Bidari was a little too slow when Roy Bennet got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 44th minute. The score was now 4-0. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Roy Bennet made a kick off. Vinicio Bidari took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Olof Löfkvist, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 70 minutes into the game, Magnus Gustavsson was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Protegéerna's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave The Old Boys the free kick. Magnus Gustavsson hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. 72 minutes in the game Santa Luis got a great opportunity which he missed by shooting outside the goal. Protegéerna's Sven Skark was substituted for Roy Bennet. Protegéerna's Rikard Lindgren was substituted for Oscar Löfgren. Vinicio Bidari showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Olof Löfkvist in the 75th minute of the match. The The Old Boys fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Vinicio Bidari should have stopped the shot. The Old Boys's Vinicio Bidari played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sven Skark in the 90th minute of play. 93 minutes into the game, Protegéerna's Sven Skark nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Vinicio Bidari made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-0. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Protegéerna had played much better football throughout.
