FC Dundee's Peeter Bonetti proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 9th minute of the match, managed to save FC Dundee from getting a goal against them. 17 minutes into the match, Milanis E.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Hristo Botev came free, but Bebeto Britto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Markus Lausmäe kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. In the 23rd minute, Hugo Allik hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jass Enula received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Bebeto Britto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Zé Carlos da Cunha really showed his touch with that goal: 1-1. 45 minutes into the game, Hristo Botev cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Bebeto Britto was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The Milanis E.C. players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. FC Dundee were winning 1-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Paulão Porto to make the kick off. The corner ended in Hristo Botev almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Milanis E.C.'s Bebeto Britto did a great save. Peeter Bonetti took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Paulão Porto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 55th minute Paulão Porto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Peeter Bonetti saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 56 minutes into the match, FC Dundee's goal looked a bit too open when Zé Carlos da Cunha came free, but Peeter Bonetti reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Peeter Bonetti showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ronaldão Mazza in the 62nd minute of the match. If Paulão Porto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hristo Botev let the left foot speak when in front of goal in the 73rd minute shot 1-3 at rihgt post. When Jacinto de Azevedo fell near the penalty area in the 89th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Milanis E.C.'s protests and gave Jacinto de Azevedo a yellow card for diving instead. Jass Enula fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bebeto Britto having to interfere.
