Spectators: 7550 (Terracing: 5664, Seating: 1736, VIP seats: 150) Santa Luis started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Santa Luis struck a weak shot in the 3rd minute. Bebeto Britto didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for The Old Boys. In the 4th minute, Chicão Matorin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The Old Boys's Santa Luis got a good chance for a goal in the 8th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 10th minute Fabiano de Sousa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vinicio Bidari saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Vinicio Bidari made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fabiano de Sousa in the 13th minute of play. After 14 played minutes The Old Boys got a freekick which was hit by Marcial Daunte. Vinicio Bidari made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zé Carlos da Cunha in the 15th minute of play. Bebeto Britto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jairo Lizar in the 26th minute of play. In the 28th minute, Paulão Porto left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Milanis E.C. fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Chicão Matorin hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. Santa Luis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 32nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Vinicio Bidari made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zé Carlos da Cunha in the 35th minute of play. Santa Luis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bebeto Britto came out of the goal in the 40th minute to try and stop a shot by The Old Boys's Santa Luis. But to his dismay, Santa Luis quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. In the 44th minute, Chicão Matorin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Paulão Porto to make the kick off. Ronaldão Mazza came free with the goalkeeper in the 53rd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Vinicio Bidari could save by the left post. Bebeto Britto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Santa Luis, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. Chicão Matorin kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Milanis E.C.'s zone, Jairo Lizar stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bebeto Britto came out of the goal and Jairo Lizar tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 65 minutes, Chicão Matorin mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Milanis E.C. and the The Old Boys players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 65 played minutes Milanis E.C. got a freekick which was hit by Chicão Matorin. Vinicio Bidari showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fabiano de Sousa in the 71st minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zé Carlos da Cunha in the 73rd minute of play forced The Old Boys's goalkeeper Vinicio Bidari to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Danilo Uhin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bebeto Britto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Santa Luis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Milanis E.C.'s zone, Jacobo Gomesano stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bebeto Britto came out of the goal and Jacobo Gomesano tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Santa Luis in the 82nd minute of play forced Milanis E.C.'s goalkeeper Bebeto Britto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Jairo Lizar came up free with the goalie in the 83rd minute, the The Old Boys fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jairo Lizar couldn't finish the play. The crowd rose to their feet as Milanis E.C.'s Paulão Porto slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Vinicio Bidari. That made the score 1-2 after 86 minutes of play. Vinicio Bidari made an important save on a dangerous shot by Chicão Matorin in the 89th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Generoso Koldobika during the 90th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, The Old Boys's Generoso Koldobika got a free kick in the 90th minute. With his leg Vinicio Bidari managed to avoid a goal in the 93rdth minute, when Milanis E.C.'s Ronaldão Mazza fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 95th minute Jairo Lizar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bebeto Britto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match was over Milanis E.C. could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than The Old Boys throughout the match.
