FC Dundee's Peeter Bonetti played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Baturhan Erozan in the 17th minute of play. Hristo Botev sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When Hugo Allik fell near the penalty area in the 22nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Dundee's protests and gave Hugo Allik a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, FC Dundee's Hugo Allik got a free kick in the 22nd minute. Gold Raiders FC's Resul Yalın played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hristo Botev in the 92nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hristo Botev in the 94th minute of play forced Gold Raiders FC's goalkeeper Resul Yalın to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gold Raiders FC succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though FC Dundee had controlled the match.
