Spectators: 7472 (Terracing: 5605, Seating: 1718, VIP seats: 149) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Lucio Serapio got the match started through his kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 4th minute, Celso Turi managed to get in a good position for a shot. Granate's supporters rose to their feet, but Celso Turi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gervasio Bortzaioriz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Gervasio Bortzaioriz didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Valentin Elazar went, in the 6th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. In the 9thth minute of the game Lucio Serapio who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Pincha FC's Gervasio Bortzaioriz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 11 minutes into the match, Pincha FC's goal looked a bit too open when Honorato Txatxu came free, but Gervasio Bortzaioriz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Gilberto Fix had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 19 minutes, Gilberto Nel mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Pincha FC and the Granate players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 19th minute, Gilberto Nel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 20th minute of the match Celso Turi shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Gervasio Bortzaioriz showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Gervasio Bortzaioriz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lucio Serapio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Pincha FC's Cirilo Francesco got a free kick in the 22nd minute. 24 minutes into the match, Pincha FC's goal looked a bit too open when Lucio Serapio came free, but Gervasio Bortzaioriz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gervasio Bortzaioriz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lucio Serapio in the 28th minute of play. Julian Jon's late challenge caught a Granate's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Julian Jon helped the player get up and apologised. After 31 played minutes Pincha FC got a freekick which was hit by Julian Jon. 31 minutes into the match, Granate's Celso Turi broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. When Nemesio Eneko fell near the penalty area in the 34th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Pincha FC's protests and gave Nemesio Eneko a yellow card for diving instead. Gervasio Bortzaioriz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lucio Serapio in the 42nd minute of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Gilberto Fix made the kick off in the second half. Amador Luzea kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. Agustin Abastas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gilberto Fix, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. After a defensive mix-up in Granate's zone, Gilberto Fix stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Agustin Abastas came out of the goal and Gilberto Fix tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Pincha FC booed when Granate was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leonel Urbes didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 64th minute Lorenzo Remir shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Agustin Abastas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Pincha FC's Nemesio Eneko got a free kick in the 69th minute. Lucio Serapio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 74th minute, Lucio Serapio left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Granate fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 88th minute of the game. One of Granate:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Pincha FC:s goal. In the 90th minute there was a penalty for Pincha FC. Lorenzo Remir stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Agustin Abastas. 1-2. Isaac Bladi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gervasio Bortzaioriz having to interfere.
