Romeo Galiceanu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 3rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Johnny Bröms kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. Nikulás Benediktsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sture Ström, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. Sabin Corcoveanu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Charles Johansson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 15th match minute, Club Vertigo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Panait Hațegan to maneuver through the defense. In the 21st minute, Johnny Bröms made a precise shot to the right of Nikulás Benediktsson. Club Vertigo's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. After a defensive mix-up in Club Vertigo's zone, Hans Törnblom stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nikulás Benediktsson came out of the goal and Hans Törnblom tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Nikulás Benediktsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Harry Hernström in the 28th minute of the match. Nikulás Benediktsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Harry Hernström, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Charles Johansson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sabin Corcoveanu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Club Vertigo's Nikulás Benediktsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edvard Åkesson in the 30th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Johnny Bröms in the 33rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Nikulás Benediktsson prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Nikulás Benediktsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hans Törnblom in the 44th minute of the match. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Sabin Corcoveanu was the one to do the kick off. Nikulás Benediktsson made a fantastic save in the 53rd minute, when Hans Törnblom sent off a good shot on target. Hans Törnblom's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Nikulás Benediktsson firmly grabbed it by the left post. Edvard Åkesson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nikulás Benediktsson having to interfere. After 64th play minutes Sture Ström shot 0-3, a short shot which went by Nikulás Benediktsson and just under the crossbar into goal. After some careless play in the Club Vertigo defense, Harry Hernström kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Nikulás Benediktsson. The Club Vertigo fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Nikulás Benediktsson should have stopped the shot. The supporters of Club Vertigo booed when AC Superstar was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Harry Hernström didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Club Vertigo's Sabin Corcoveanu got a free kick in the 74th minute. With a little luck, Club Vertigo's Nikulás Benediktsson got control of the ball when Sture Ström tried to sneak it across the goal line. Club Vertigo's Nikulás Benediktsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Harry Hernström in the 76th minute of play. 82 minutes into the match, Sture Ström notched a goal, 0-5, to the right of Club Vertigo's Nikulás Benediktsson. Nikulás Benediktsson was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 86 minutes into the match, Club Vertigo's goalkeeper Nikulás Benediktsson had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Harry Hernström. Johnny Bröms could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 88th minute of the match, but Nikulás Benediktsson made a huge save. 88 minutes in the game, Johnny Bröms dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. Nikulás Benediktsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sture Ström in the 92nd minute of the match. AC Superstar played a much better game than Club Vertigo and deserved their victory. The Club Vertigo players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
