Genaro Bilintx charged in rather forcefully in the 29th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Genaro Bilintx the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 29th minute, Genaro Bilintx hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Julian Jon kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 36 minutes, Augusto Oinatz took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Gervasio Bortzaioriz to make any attempt to save it. After 41 minutes, Delmar Opilano mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the CERPA and the Pincha FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 41 played minutes CERPA got a freekick which was hit by Delmar Opilano. CERPA's Fabian Ortzi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gilberto Fix in the 42nd minute of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Geronimo Aritza to make the kick off. If Nemesio Eneko had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gervasio Bortzaioriz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Geronimo Aritza, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute.
