Seating: 1716, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Philip Hedvall made the kick off which started today's match. After a rather tough play, Nye's Per Västerstrand got a free kick in the 3rd minute. In the 4th minute, Vefa Sevimli left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Wertian S Salvinorins fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. 9 minutes into the match, Pedro Luís Saldanha had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Markus Albäck. Nye's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Pedro Luís Saldanha was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Markus Albäck showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Slawomir Lampe, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. Vefa Sevimli's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Markus Albäck read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 17th minute of play. 18 minutes into the match, Nye's goal looked a bit too open when Slawomir Lampe came free, but Markus Albäck reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pedro Luís Saldanha in the 20th minute of play forced Nye's goalkeeper Markus Albäck to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Markus Albäck showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pedro Luís Saldanha in the 26th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 32nd minute, Pedro Luís Saldanha managed to get in a good position for a shot. Wertian S Salvinorins's supporters rose to their feet, but Pedro Luís Saldanha was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Markus Albäck breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of Wertian S Salvinorins booed when Nye was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kalle Boberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. Markus Albäck came out of the goal in the 38th minute to try and stop a shot by Wertian S Salvinorins's Pedro Luís Saldanha. But to his dismay, Pedro Luís Saldanha quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. In the 41st match minute, Wertian S Salvinorins was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wieslaw Barciniak to maneuver through the defense. In the 44th minute, Wertian S Salvinorins's Radowit Ostrowski seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Radowit Ostrowski the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Wertian S Salvinorins protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Radowit Ostrowski had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
If Czeslaw Pincoski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 57 minutes into the match, Wertian S Salvinorins's Vefa Sevimli sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Markus Albäck narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 58th minute Slawomir Lampe shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Markus Albäck saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Wieslaw Barciniak recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 62nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 66 played minutes Wertian S Salvinorins got a freekick which was hit by Czeslaw Pincoski. Markus Albäck didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Vefa Sevimli went, in the 69th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-5 was the resulting score. 74 minutes into the match, Vefa Sevimli notched a goal, 1-6, to the right of Nye's Markus Albäck. Markus Albäck was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Wertian S Salvinorins's Slawomir Lampe got a good chance for a goal in the 77th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 79th minute, Nye's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Wieslaw Barciniak fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. After some careless play in the Nye defense, Slawomir Lampe kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Markus Albäck. The Nye fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Markus Albäck should have stopped the shot. Markus Albäck made a fantastic save in the 90th minute, when Vefa Sevimli sent off a good shot on target. The crowd rose to their feet as Wieslaw Barciniak kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Markus Albäck. That made the score 1-9 in the 92 minute of play. Wertian S Salvinorins's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
