With a little luck, Pincha FC's Gervasio Bortzaioriz got control of the ball when Cristian Pueblo tried to sneak it across the goal line. 6 minutes into the match, Pincha FC's goalkeeper Gervasio Bortzaioriz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cristian Pueblo. Aureliano Pancho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gervasio Bortzaioriz having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 16th minute, Cristian Pueblo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Nueva Lepra FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Cristian Pueblo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gervasio Bortzaioriz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Remigio Gabrio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Gervasio Bortzaioriz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cirilo Francesco kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. Gervasio Bortzaioriz didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 20th minute, which inside left pole to 1-0. After having played for 25 minutes, Alfredo Gaizkine managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Nueva Lepra FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alfredo Gaizkine was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 28 played minutes Pincha FC got a freekick which was hit by Cirilo Francesco. The supporters of Nueva Lepra FC booed when Pincha FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nemesio Eneko didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Alfredo Gaizkine had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

After a defensive mix-up in Pincha FC's zone, Alfredo Gaizkine stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gervasio Bortzaioriz came out of the goal and Alfredo Gaizkine tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Nemesio Eneko's late challenge caught a Nueva Lepra FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Nemesio Eneko helped the player get up and apologised. In the 52nd match minute, Pincha FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nemesio Eneko to maneuver through the defense. Alfredo Gaizkine scored 2-0 in the 56th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gervasio Bortzaioriz, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Cristian Pueblo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Edgardo Corderun charged in rather forcefully in the 73rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Edgardo Corderun the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Lorenzo Remir struck a weak shot in the 74th minute. Silvio Grabiel didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pincha FC. After a rather tough play, Nueva Lepra FC's Edgardo Corderun got a free kick in the 77th minute. Thanks to some nice moves Gilberto Fix could shoot a difficult shot in the 78th minute, which Silvio Grabiel however easily saved by the left post. Alfredo Gaizkine sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Pincha FC getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Cirilo Francesco hit a great ball. In the 94th minute Cristian Pueblo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gervasio Bortzaioriz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gervasio Bortzaioriz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alfredo Gaizkine, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. In the 96th minute, Leo Ramos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Nueva Lepra FC fully deserved thier win.
