Agustin Abastas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nistor Iftimescu in the 5th minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Club Vertigo's Nistor Iftimescu slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Agustin Abastas. That made the score 1-0 after 7 minutes of play. A collision led to Granate getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Gaudencio Estebe hit a great ball. Through an outstanding action, after 11 minutes, Agustin Abastas successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. If Romeo Galiceanu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nistor Iftimescu in the 24th minute of play forced Granate's goalkeeper Agustin Abastas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Club Vertigo getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Nistor Iftimescu hit a great ball. Nikulás Benediktsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Valentin Elazar in the 26th minute of the match. Agustin Abastas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nistor Iftimescu in the 30th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Nistor Iftimescu in the 33rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Agustin Abastas saved Granate from getting behind. 34 minutes into the game, Joaquin Ezkerra cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Nikulás Benediktsson was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.

Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Romeo Galiceanu in the 55th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Agustin Abastas prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nistor Iftimescu in the 59th minute of play forced Granate's goalkeeper Agustin Abastas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nikulás Benediktsson made a fantastic save in the 66th minute, when Celso Turi sent off a good shot on target. Nikulás Benediktsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Isaac Bladi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Amador Luzea charged in rather forcefully in the 69th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Amador Luzea the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Amador Luzea kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. After 74 minutes, Nistor Iftimescu made it 3-1 with a short kick to the right side. Granate's Agustin Abastas tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. When Remus Greavu came up free with the goalie in the 82nd minute, the Club Vertigo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Remus Greavu couldn't finish the play. Nistor Iftimescu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 84th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Nistor Iftimescu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Club Vertigo were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Granate for a fine match.
