The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 4 minutes into the game, Aureliano Pancho recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Carolo Sasoin. Aureliano Pancho showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Florentino Batista struck a weak shot in the 7th minute. Silvio Grabiel didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for ToCoTaN FC. Angelo Astigar kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. After having played for 10 minutes, Aureliano Pancho managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Nueva Lepra FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Aureliano Pancho was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 11th minute, Isidro Eguerdi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 14 minutes into the match, Florentino Batista had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Silvio Grabiel. Nueva Lepra FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Florentino Batista was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Nueva Lepra FC's Silvio Grabiel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eustacio Nevada in the 17th minute of play. ToCoTaN FC were awarded a corner in the 18th minute after Nueva Lepra FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Guido Confesor took the corner. Guido Confesor made a great header on ToCoTaN FC's corner, it was just that Nueva Lepra FC's Silvio Grabiel managed to reach the ball for a save. Aaron Fertus received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Carolo Sasoin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 25th minute, Tobias Favila left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The ToCoTaN FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. 32 minutes into the match, ToCoTaN FC's goal looked a bit too open when Aureliano Pancho came free, but Carolo Sasoin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Victorio Izel charged in rather forcefully in the 38th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Victorio Izel the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. If Florentino Batista had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 42 minutes, Angelo Astigar mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Nueva Lepra FC and the ToCoTaN FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Nueva Lepra FC getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Angelo Astigar hit a great ball. After 43 played minutes, ToCoTaN FC's Guido Confesor shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Silvio Grabiel came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in ToCoTaN FC reached it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tobias Favila in the 46th minute of play forced Nueva Lepra FC's goalkeeper Silvio Grabiel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After the first half ToCoTaN FC were leading 1-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
In the 52nd minute Aaron Fertus shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carolo Sasoin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Florentino Batista took the ball and in the 53 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Silvio Grabiel. Silvio Grabiel dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-4. Florentino Batista could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 58th minute of the match, but Silvio Grabiel made a huge save. In the 63rdth minute of the game Aaron Fertus who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but ToCoTaN FC's Carolo Sasoin was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Carolo Sasoin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alfredo Gaizkine, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Silvio Grabiel made a fantastic save in the 67th minute, when Florentino Batista sent off a good shot on target. In the 71st minute, Aaron Fertus left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Nueva Lepra FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-4. In the 74th minute Eustacio Nevada shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Silvio Grabiel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 78th match minute, ToCoTaN FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Guido Confesor to maneuver through the defense. Tobias Favila recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 83rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 84 minutes into the match, Nueva Lepra FC's goal looked a bit too open when Florentino Batista came free, but Silvio Grabiel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 86 minutes into the match, Nueva Lepra FC's goalkeeper Silvio Grabiel had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Florentino Batista. After 89 played minutes Guido Confesor rounded Nueva Lepra FC's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 2-5. 92 minutes into the game, Nueva Lepra FC's Alfredo Gaizkine nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Carolo Sasoin made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-5. The ToCoTaN FC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
