When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Egídio Lucas made a kick off. Davi Couto charged in rather forcefully in the 52nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Davi Couto the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Davi Couto kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. Fabrício Rosa, 53 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Icoara Football Club's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fabrício Rosa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 67 minutes into the match, Icoara Football Club's goal looked a bit too open when Leopoldo Soares came free, but Caetano Monteiro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 68th minute, Vitório Baiano made a precise shot to the right of Caetano Monteiro. Icoara Football Club's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. Icoara Football Club's Caetano Monteiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vitório Baiano in the 73rd minute of play. A collision led to Icoara Football Club getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Fabrício Rosa hit a great ball. In the 79thth minute of the game Leopoldo Soares who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Icoara Football Club's Caetano Monteiro was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Relyn Futebol Clube's Alfredo Reis got a good chance for a goal in the 86th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 90th minute Leopoldo Soares shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Caetano Monteiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Laércio Vianna received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Caetano Monteiro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Relyn Futebol Clube had played much better football throughout.
