Seating: 1743, VIP seats: 151) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Johnny Raiola kicked off to start the match. The Tarada fans' excitement grew in the 3rd match minute when Tarada's Johnny Raiola looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. With a little luck, Atletico Calamar Saavedra's Iker Gilen got control of the ball when Marc Nuessli tried to sneak it across the goal line. Iker Gilen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marc Nuessli, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. Silvio Miro kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 10th minute, Marc Nuessli managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tarada's supporters rose to their feet, but Marc Nuessli was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Iker Gilen breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Cliff Gottschalk took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Blas Quiroga, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Iker Gilen made an important save on a dangerous shot by Johnny Raiola in the 17th minute. After some careless play in the Atletico Calamar Saavedra defense, Johnny Raiola kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Iker Gilen. The Atletico Calamar Saavedra fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Iker Gilen should have stopped the shot. Johnny Raiola could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 21st minute of the match, but Iker Gilen made a huge save. Tarada's Cliff Gottschalk played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Delmiro Mambru in the 24th minute of play. Iker Gilen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marc Nuessli in the 28th minute of play. Marc Nuessli hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. After 32 minutes, Timothee Rager mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Tarada and the Atletico Calamar Saavedra players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 32nd match minute, Tarada was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Timothee Rager to maneuver through the defense. In the 33rd minute of the match Felix Tipi sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Cliff Gottschalk skillfully saved the ball. Tarada's Timothee Rager got his second yellow card of the match in the 33rd minute. The referee ordered Timothee Rager off the ground. The supporters of Atletico Calamar Saavedra booed when Tarada was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Timothee Rager didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Tarada's zone, Blas Quiroga stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cliff Gottschalk came out of the goal and Blas Quiroga tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Mick Racine's late challenge caught a Atletico Calamar Saavedra's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Mick Racine helped the player get up and apologised. Mick Racine kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. A collision led to Atletico Calamar Saavedra getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Teodosio Columbo hit a great ball. In the 47th minute, Mick Racine got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Blas Quiroga to make the kick off. 53 minutes into the match, Atletico Calamar Saavedra's goal looked a bit too open when Marc Nuessli came free, but Iker Gilen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Atletico Calamar Saavedra were furious when Basilio Rioja was red carded, 53 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In a very dangerous position, a player in Atletico Calamar Saavedra fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 53rd minute. Penalty! In the 55th minute there was a penalty for Tarada. Laurent Weyermann stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Iker Gilen. 3-0. In the 59th minute, Wolf Ehrenbolger made a precise shot to the right of Iker Gilen. Atletico Calamar Saavedra's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. Wolf Ehrenbolger recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 62nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 65 minutes into the match, Tarada's goal looked a bit too open when Martin Silvino came free, but Cliff Gottschalk reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Iker Gilen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marc Nuessli, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Henri Schäppi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Iker Gilen having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Atletico Calamar Saavedra's zone, Wolf Ehrenbolger stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Iker Gilen came out of the goal and Wolf Ehrenbolger tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Atletico Calamar Saavedra booed when Tarada was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marc Nuessli didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 79 minutes, Blas Quiroga managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Atletico Calamar Saavedra's supporters crossed their fingers, but Blas Quiroga was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 80thth minute of the game Martin Silvino who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Tarada's Cliff Gottschalk was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After having played for 82 minutes, Wolf Ehrenbolger managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tarada's supporters crossed their fingers, but Wolf Ehrenbolger was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the match clock showed 86 minutes, the score became 6-0 when Marc Nuessli sped through Atletico Calamar Saavedra's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Iker Gilen. When Marc Nuessli came up free with the goalie in the 97th minute, the Tarada fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Marc Nuessli couldn't finish the play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Wolf Ehrenbolger in the 99th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Iker Gilen saved Atletico Calamar Saavedra from getting behind. Atletico Calamar Saavedra's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
