The supporters of Tarada booed when Terapia Intensiva was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Benicio Gustau didn't get a good kick on the ball. Damaso Cresconio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Johnny Raiola, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. Cliff Gottschalk made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fabricio Oliverios in the 18th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Terapia Intensiva's Isidoro Gauargi got a free kick in the 19th minute. In the 20th minute, Laurent Weyermann got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a little luck, Tarada's Cliff Gottschalk got control of the ball when Clemente Fonda tried to sneak it across the goal line. Cliff Gottschalk made an important save on a dangerous shot by Clemente Fonda in the 22nd minute. The corner ended in Alípio Albuquerque almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Tarada's Cliff Gottschalk did a great save. In the 24th match minute, Terapia Intensiva was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Isidoro Gauargi to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marc Nuessli in the 28th minute of play forced Terapia Intensiva's goalkeeper Damaso Cresconio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Johnny Raiola had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mick Racine in the 29th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Damaso Cresconio prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Tarada's Cliff Gottschalk proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 37th minute of the match, managed to save Tarada from getting a goal against them. Damaso Cresconio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mick Racine, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Everett Widmer kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. Cliff Gottschalk made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fabricio Oliverios in the 41st minute of play. With 45 minutes on the clock, Benicio Gustau commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Fabricio Oliverios stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Marc Nuessli succeeded in the game's 79th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-5. Damaso Cresconio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marc Nuessli in the 83rd minute of play. Damaso Cresconio made a fantastic save in the 89th minute, when Johnny Raiola sent off a good shot on target. Terapia Intensiva's Damaso Cresconio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marc Nuessli in the 92nd minute of play. In the 95th minute the ball was on its way in behind Terapia Intensiva's goalkeeper Damaso Cresconio, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Johnny Raiola took the ball and in the 98 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Damaso Cresconio. Damaso Cresconio dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-7.
