Spectators: 7454 (Terracing: 5591, Seating: 1714, VIP seats: 149) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Egídio Lucas took the kick off in the first half of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Bairoletto FC's Leonides Asteri slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Caetano Monteiro. That made the score 1-0 after 3 minutes of play. Icoara Football Club's Genílson de Queirós got a good chance for a goal in the 7th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Aquiles Bartolome fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Caetano Monteiro having to interfere. Genílson de Queirós hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. Caetano Monteiro came out of the goal in the 14th minute to try and stop a shot by Bairoletto FC's Leonides Asteri. But to his dismay, Leonides Asteri quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. After 24 played minutes Bairoletto FC got a freekick which was hit by Florentino Leheren. In the 30th minute, Leonides Asteri made a precise shot to the right of Caetano Monteiro. Icoara Football Club's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. Rolando Asur hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. 37 minutes into the match, Icoara Football Club's goal looked a bit too open when Edgardo Santo came free, but Caetano Monteiro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Leonides Asteri received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Caetano Monteiro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Caetano Monteiro made a fantastic save in the 42nd minute, when Leonides Asteri sent off a good shot on target. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Leonides Asteri to make the kick off. Caetano Monteiro didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Leonides Asteri went, in the 56th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-0 was the resulting score. Caetano Monteiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leonides Asteri in the 62nd minute of play. 71 minutes into the match, Florentino Leheren notched a goal, 7-0, to the right of Icoara Football Club's Caetano Monteiro. Caetano Monteiro was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Caetano Monteiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leonides Asteri in the 78th minute of play. 79 minutes into the match, Leonides Asteri had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Caetano Monteiro. Icoara Football Club's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Leonides Asteri was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 8-0. 84 minutes into the game, Bairoletto FC's Aquiles Bartolome nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Caetano Monteiro made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 9-0. In the 91st minute Florentino Leheren shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Caetano Monteiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Caetano Monteiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leonides Asteri in the 97th minute of play.
