Eugeniusz Turek scored 0-1 in the 4th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Caetano Monteiro, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Icoara Football Club's Caetano Monteiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eugeniusz Turek in the 11th minute of play. Caetano Monteiro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kazimierz Miazga, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. After a rather tough play, Icoara Football Club's Luizão Paraíba got a free kick in the 16th minute. In the 19th minute of the game, Dominik Karanowski landed unfortunately after trying to head the ball, and pulled a muscle in the back, so badly that he had to leave the field. ◄19A10► Widzew Łódź made a substitution. Janusz Andrychowski replaced Dominik Karanowski. After 22 minutes of play, ◄19A10► Widzew Łódź's Kazimierz Miazga made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Caetano Monteiro was left in no man's land by his defense there! Luizão Paraíba fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Grzegorz Skikiewicz having to interfere. 34 minutes into the match, ◄19A10► Widzew Łódź's goalkeeper Grzegorz Skikiewicz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Luizão Paraíba. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kazimierz Miazga in the 36th minute of play forced Icoara Football Club's goalkeeper Caetano Monteiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Norbert Gregorczyk's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Caetano Monteiro was relentless in the 38th minute of the game. Caetano Monteiro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kazimierz Miazga, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Caetano Monteiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leonard Balkiewicz in the 42nd minute of the match. In the 44th minute, Kazimierz Miazga left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The ◄19A10► Widzew Łódź fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. Icoara Football Club's Caetano Monteiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eugeniusz Turek in the 48th minute of play. After the first half ◄19A10► Widzew Łódź were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Luizão Paraíba made a kick off. After a rather tough play, Icoara Football Club's Roger Brasil got a free kick in the 54th minute. In the 59th minute of the match, Leonard Balkiewicz tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Caetano Monteiro saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After 60 minutes, Genílson de Queirós mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Icoara Football Club and the ◄19A10► Widzew Łódź players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 61st minute of the match Eugeniusz Turek sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Caetano Monteiro skillfully saved the ball. The supporters of ◄19A10► Widzew Łódź booed when Icoara Football Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Genílson de Queirós didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, Icoara Football Club's Caetano Monteiro got control of the ball when Leonard Balkiewicz tried to sneak it across the goal line. Eugeniusz Turek recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Kazimierz Miazga took the ball and in the 90 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Caetano Monteiro. Caetano Monteiro dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. Caetano Monteiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leonard Balkiewicz in the 95th minute of play. ◄19A10► Widzew Łódź's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
