Bairoletto FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Icoara Football Club the free kick. The supporters of Icoara Football Club booed when Bairoletto FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edgardo Santo didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rolando Asur in the 8th minute of play forced Icoara Football Club's goalkeeper Caetano Monteiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 11 minutes, Egídio Lucas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Icoara Football Club's supporters crossed their fingers, but Egídio Lucas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of Bairoletto FC booed when Icoara Football Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zézinho de Lara didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edgardo Santo in the 13th minute of play forced Icoara Football Club's goalkeeper Caetano Monteiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Caetano Monteiro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edgardo Santo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 16th match minute, Icoara Football Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Laércio das Neves to maneuver through the defense. Edgardo Santo was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 17th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. In the 22nd minute, Edgardo Santo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Caetano Monteiro was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. After 25 minutes of play, Bairoletto FC's Leonides Asteri made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Caetano Monteiro was left in no man's land by his defense there! Aquiles Bartolome scored 0-3 in the 30th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Caetano Monteiro, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 33rd minute, Rolando Asur hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 40 minutes into the game, Bairoletto FC's Aquiles Bartolome nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Caetano Monteiro made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4. In the 42nd match minute, Bairoletto FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Domingo Roderigo to maneuver through the defense. Pascual Demario made an important save on a dangerous shot by Egídio Lucas in the 44th minute. A collision led to Bairoletto FC getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Fernan Velasco hit a great ball. After the first half Bairoletto FC were leading 0-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Leonides Asteri to make the kick off. Caetano Monteiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edgardo Santo in the 51st minute of the match. If Luizão Paraíba had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Caetano Monteiro made a fantastic save in the 55th minute, when Leonides Asteri sent off a good shot on target. The audience thought a goal was coming when Leonides Asteri got free with Caetano Monteiro in the 59th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 62nd minute, Bairoletto FC's Leonides Asteri dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-5. The audience thought a goal was coming when Leonides Asteri got free with Caetano Monteiro in the 66th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 0-6 became the score in the 69th minute when Leonides Asteri elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. With a little luck, Icoara Football Club's Caetano Monteiro got control of the ball when Leonides Asteri tried to sneak it across the goal line. Leonides Asteri could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 74th minute of the match, but Caetano Monteiro made a huge save. Aquiles Bartolome's late challenge caught a Icoara Football Club's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Aquiles Bartolome helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Bairoletto FC's Aquiles Bartolome got a free kick in the 75th minute. Caetano Monteiro came out of the goal in the 78th minute to try and stop a shot by Bairoletto FC's Edgardo Santo. But to his dismay, Edgardo Santo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-7. Leonides Asteri succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-9 in the 87th playminute. Rolando Asur received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Caetano Monteiro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Caetano Monteiro came out of the goal in the 93rd minute to try and stop a shot by Bairoletto FC's Leonides Asteri. But to his dismay, Leonides Asteri quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-10. In the 96th minute, Edgardo Santo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Bairoletto FC played a much better game than Icoara Football Club and deserved their victory. The Icoara Football Club players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
